Applications:
Magnesium Hydroxide nanoparticles can be used in fire retarding and smoke suppressing. It undergoes endothermic decomposition
releasing water which enables it to delay ignition and to dilute combustible gases. plus it inhibits oxygen from aiding the combustion.
In industry magnesium hydroxide is used to neutralise acidic waste-waters.
